The Tampa Bay Rays are showing why they won their division and why they belong in the playoffs.

These young players are stepping up big in their first appearance in the post season and the Rays couldn’t be happier. Evan Longoria stepped up big in yesterday in the win and tonight Akinori Iwamura stepped up big in the 5th inning and blasted a homer with on.

Scott Kazmir pitched 5.1 innings and gave up 2 runs striking out 4. The bullpin for the Rays did a great job by not giving up a run in the 3.2 innings they pitched.

The Rays are only one win away from advancing to the ALCS and they way they are looking now they will get there. This young team will go along way if they keep playing good baseball. Putting runners on base and driving them in will be the formula for this team to win.
