Florida Bounces Back From Last Week’s Upset

After last weeks upset to Mississippi the Florida Gators came back this week with a vengeance. The opponent this week was Arkansas and the Gators unleashed chomp after chomp.

In the first quarter Tim Tebow would throw a 2 yard pass to Brandon James for a touchdown. This would put the Gators up by 7.

In the second quarter the Gators would score again with a 36 yard run by Jeffery Demps for a touchdown. The Gators go up by 14.

In the third quarter the Gators would only produce a field goal while they gave up a touchdown to Arkansas which was a 6 yard run by Michael Smith.

In the fourth quarter the Gators would just tack on the points by putting up 21 points. Tim Tebow threw a 21 yard pass to Percy Harvin. That would put the Gators up 24-7. A 75 yard run for a touchdown by Chris Rainey would put the Gators up 31-7. The last score of the game would be Jeffery Demps 48 yard run for a touchdown.

The final score would be 38-7.

Tim Tebow threw for 217 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception.
Jeffery Demps and Chris Rainey would each run for 103 yards. Demps would score twice and Rainey would score once. Rainey had a long run for 75 yards and Demps had one for 48 yards.

Michael Smith for Arkansas would run for 138 yards with a touchdown, scoring the only points for Arkansas.
