LCS To The World Series

Published by bertman at 11:07 pm under MLB Edit This

Now that the ALCS and the NLCS are set I guess it’s time to pick who I think is going to win. Both series are going to be great and should be interesting to watch. It should also lead to a fantastic World Series.

Now for the ALCS I think that the two best AL teams are playing. I like the Tampa Bay Rays and I think that this year isn’t just a fluke. I also like the Boston Red Sox and the experience they bring to the post season. But since I have to pick one I’m taking the Tampa Bay Rays. I think they match up pretty well with Boston in Pitching and I think they are able to match them run for run also.

For the NLCS I think we all might be surprised that the Chicago Cubs are not in it, but then again its no surprise considering Manny Ramierz plays for the LA Dodgers. I like the Philadelphia Phillies and the pitching they bring to the table and they do have some big bats that will have to step up in order for them to win. But I’m going to take the Dodgers. I like Joe Torre and Manny Ramierz leading the Dodgers.

So my picks are the Tampa Bay Rays and the LA Dodgers.

Hard to argue against Boston, even in their Manny-less state, after what they’ve done the last couple years. I’m rooting for the Rays, but I’m predicting Boston.

And for the N.L.? Who knows, this one’s really a toss-up. I’ve seen the Phillies and the Dodgers look incredibly good and also incredibly bad this year. If Rollins, Howard, and Utley show up though, I think the Dodgers will have a tough time moving on to the W.S.

I’ll have to take your word for it and agree. Just stopping by to say hey.
