I can’t believe I didn’t watch the Kimbo Slice fight. I had been waiting for it for a month and I guess I got to caught up with baseball that I forgot all about it, but I’m kind of glad I didn’t watch it because Kimbo was taken down in 14 seconds.

Now I’m not going to sit here and hype Kimbo up even though I like him as a fighter. I don’t really think he belongs in MMA. I think he is a great street fighter and he probably would have done better as a boxer. Well except for the fact that his stamina isn’t all that great. I mean most of the time he doesn’t need stamina considering he is used to knocking people out pretty fast. But anyways I’m getting off topic.

I’ve read in a couple places that the ProElite might have set the whole thing up. Which I really don’t care. I think Kimbo shouldn’t have fought the fight anyways. I mean he has been training this whole time to fight Ken Shamrock and then 3 hours before the fight he has to get prepared to fight Seth Petruzelli. Now I’ve seen all his Youtube videos and most of the time he pulls up to the guy he has to fight and just starts fighting. But it’s different in MMA considering you don’t know if the guy is going to stand there and throw punches(like in a street fight) or try and take you to the ground. So I can see why Kimbo lost the fight.

I can also see why he took the fight.

MONEY! MONEY! MONEY!

Kimbo didn’t care if he lost. He was getting paid. He made more money of that 14 seconds than he did on all his street fights put together.

As for it being set up I really can’t answer that. We’ll we just have to let the investigation happen and see what is found if anything.
