The Phillies did everything right in game 5 of the NLCS. Cole Hamels pitched an Ace. They hit the ball and they scored runs.

The Dodgers did everything wrong. Pitching was awful, hitting was terrible(except for Manny), and fielding was worse than the first two combined.The better team won this series. Manny did all he could do, but the players around him weren’t as productive.

Furcal had 4 errors in game 5 of the NLCS allowing a run to score on 1 and these were not hard plays, but by the way Furcal made them look you could doubt yourself.So the Phillies move on to the World Series and the Dodgers go home.

The Dodgers are going to have some tough decisions to make in the off season on rather to keep Manny(Probably the only reason they made it to the Post season anyways) or let him go.

I say keep Manny. He has shown you that he is worth it and why let the best player on your team go? Grant it by the look of things they do need some pitching. Well I say thats what the draft is for. Keep Manny, draft some decent pitching, and make a run for it next year.
