Big D With Not A So Big Win
If you’ve been paying any attention to the NFL the past few weeks then you know that the Dallas Cowboys have been the talk of the league. Is Pacman coming back? Is Tony Romo playing? Why did they get Roy Williams? T.O. actually happy he isn’t getting the ball?
With all this talk about the team and where it is headed as had some affect on the field. Losing to the St. Louis Rams last week and to the Arizona Cardinals the week before that. So where is this team heading?
Well the would take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home. The Bucs came into this game as favorite to win and they almost pulled it off at the last second, but couldn’t convert on a 4th down at the end of the game. So the Cowboys got their first win in 3 weeks, but for a team that has Terrell Owens and Roy Williams and Jason Witten and Marion Barber 13 points is not that impressive.
I’ll go ahead and say it. I don’t like Tony Romo, but man is he a better quarter back than Brad Johnson. I mean with Romo you have to worry about him fumbling a snap or throwing a interception or even not holding a field gaol kick correctly, but at least he can put up more than 13 points. Hell I could put up more points than that with TO, Williams, Barber, etc.
Well for the Cowboys this was a big win and one they needed. With Tony Romo still not playing for a couple weeks they will have to squeeze by the next few weeks and hope they can steal wins because they won’t out right win games with only 13 points. When the Rams can put up 34 points 13 will not be enough. This is still a strong team when it comes to the players and the talent on the team and could still be a tough opponent in the Playoffs that is if they can manage to make it that far. This team just needs to take it one game at a time and hope they can get their offense on track and the defense.
