Can Quinn Get The Win?
After a disappointing start of a season the Cleveland Browns, like many other teams, are shaking things up. They have benched Derek Anderson and put in Rookie QB Brady Quinn.
The Browns can’t be looking for an all star player with Quinn. He barley has played in the NFL only thrown for 8 passes. But the Browns aren’t doing this to based on Quinn’s performance. They are doing this to send a shock through the team. A team that is 3-5 and fighting to try and have a winning season. But can it be done?
It won’t be easy. They will have a lot of things they will have to work through. A rookie quarterback, struggling offense, and a 3-5 record, but it can be done. They could see a winning season, but no playoffs. They would have to win the rest of their games, which is very unlikely.
Quinn will how ever show us what he’s got tonight against the Denver Broncos. Will he be able to pull off the win? With the way the Broncos defense is playing it is likely that he could win tonight. If they can establish their running game then throwing the ball will be much easier for Quinn.
This could be the turning point for the Browns or it could be the same ride they have been on all season. Quinn will however be the QB until other wise stated by the Browns. If he does well then he will stay the QB and Anderson will be on the bench, but if he doesn’t perform at least as good as Anderson then tides could change again and young Quinn could be warming the bench again.
