College basketball is always full of surprises. Along with those surprises some things are always the same. You’re always going to have powerhouses and cinderella’s. I’ll list 5 powerhouses and 2 cinderella’s.

Powerhouses

1. UNC
2. UConn
3. UCLA
4. Duke
5. Texas

Cinderella’s

1. Davidson
2. Clemson

Some of the team’s you see under powerhouses you see every year. It’s no surprise that UNC is starting out ranked #1.

I know Davidson was a cinderella team last year, but watch for them to do it again. As for Clemson who had a good team last year have dropped in the ranking. I don’t know if I should really classify them as a cinderella team, but watch for them to move up in the rankings.
