The Chicago Bulls have to many guards on their team. They got rid of one, Chris Duhon, but drafted Derrick Rose and picked up Lindsey Hunter. So they have Derrick Rose, Lindsey Hunter, Ben Gordon, Larry Hughes, Kirk Hinrich, and Thabo Sefolosha. That’s 6 guards.

All have seen playing time.I still think that the Bulls should have drafted Michael Beasley instead of Derrick Rose. Ben Gordon is a good guard and they should keep him. He can be a starter or come off the bench. They could have traded Larry Hughes or Kirk Hinrich and got someone that can post up in the paint.

It’s hard to have a good scoring team when you have 3 or 4 sometimes even 5 guards coming in and playing. Each player play’s different and will manage the team differently when in the game.I think the Bulls have a lot of talent on their team and could be a playoff team if they could get their roster straightened out and get two rotations going, the starting rotation and another rotation to come off the bench. Once they get the team figured out and how they are going to play them they will become a better team.

As of right now I’m going to stick with this statement. The San Antonio Spur’s look horrible with out Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker. Tim Duncan is a great player, but he can’t do it all himself.

They have other players that can play, but none of them are playmakers like Parker and Ginobili are. This team has relied on Ginobili and Parker for years and it shows now that they don’t have them on the court.

If it takes longer than the Spur’s hope for these two guys to come back it could hurt their chances of making the playoffs. As of right now they are only a game and a half out of first place in their division with a 5-6 record. With the other teams in their division such as the Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Hornets are struggling early too.

Its always hard for teams to do well when they lose their best player let alone if they lose two players they depend on. It could be a rough season if Parker and Ginobili don’t come back from their injuries 100% healthy. They need these two players if they won’t to make it back to the playoffs and have a shot at the NBA Championship.
