The Florida Gator’s belong in the National Championship if they handle their next two games and beat Alabama in the SEC Championship game. This is my opinion as of today, not knowing what the next three weeks hold.

I think this is the best team in the Nation right now. I know there are a lot of good teams out there, but the Gator’s are just clicking not only on offense but also defense. Grant it if they hadn’t had the slip up with Ole’ Miss they would be the #1 team right now. They have moved on since that lose and has proved that that one game was a slip up and it won’t happen again. Put the Gator’s on the field with any other team right now and I say they would win.

If they beat their next two opponents then I think going into the Alabama game they will be the favorite. If Alabama is still undefeated and ranked #1 when the SEC Championship game comes around and Florida beats them then its hard to argue that Florida doesn’t belong in the National Championship.

If the season plays out like I think its going to the Florida Gator’s will be National Champions. It will be a hell of a game no matter who they play.

Alabama vs. Florida

If you haven’t seen this video it’s pretty funny. The Referee/Umpire in the LSU vs South Carolina game knocked down South Carolina’s quarterback. They claim he was trying to get out of the way, but the forearm tells another story.

The referee is a former Kentucky Linebacker so he knows how to throw a hit. There was no flag thrown or anything. You can clearly see by the video that he throws his forearm up and knocks the QB down. Now rather it was intentional or not it was up to the SEC to decide if the Ref/umpire was in the right position and they claimed he was.
