The PBA got rolling last week. This week they would be in Omaha,NE for the Pepsi Viper Championship. This week would hold a first for one of the bowlers who would be bowling in this tournament.

The 4 bowlers for this weeks matches were #4 seed Wes Mallot, #3 seed Brad Angelo, #2 seed Walter Ray Williams Jr., and #1 seed Chris Loschetter.

This first match up would be between #4 seed Wes Mallot and #3 seed Brad Angelo. Angelo would easily win this match 222-195 and advance to the second match to face #2 seed Walter Ray Williams Jr.. This would be a much closer match then the first match, but Angelo would hold on to win 221-214 and move on to the Championship match to face #1 seed Chris Loschetter. Angelo would win the match heads down, striking 6 of the last 7 frames to winn 256-215.

This was Brad Angelo’s first PBA title. He has been on the tour for 7 years and has been in 13 TV finals, but has never won until today.

Brad Angelo wasn’t the only one who would win their first title on Sunday. Stefanie Nation would also win her first title defeating Michelle Feldman 225-200.

Next week the tour will be in Hammond, Indiana for the Lake Country Indiana Golden Anniversary Championship. You can catch all the action on ESPN at 1pm ET on November 9th.
